OK, I accept had this machine for nine years and I accept had this problem for most the past four years!!! With that being said NO One knows how to prepare the problem! I can be driving down the road and of a sudden all the dash gauges lite upwardly at once. The radio will turn off if it'south on and the power windows don't work.....basically anything electric stops working.....including the speedometer. It'due south random when it happens and random when it stops. Over the years I would say it happens at least one time a month and it nevertheless happens with no solution.
My dealer said they have to see it happen to figure it out so one fourth dimension it happened during the day and I drove straight in that location and shut the car off and when they restarted it it didn't happen....go figure. Even some other mechanic in town has said they go a lot of this and no one can figure information technology out

The original outcome was with the speedometer, it would stick at 120 mph then nosotros would reset it by pulling a fuse. Now the fuel estimate & temp gauge is not working correctly. It shows temp at 220, however the car is sitting in the driveway and has not been moved. Fuel gauge is not giving an accurate level anymore.
So now at that place are three issues, speedometer does non work, fuel gauge and temp gauge are all providing wrong information.
THIS NEEDS TO Exist RECALLED!

I take never received a recollect. I bought this new.. condign dangerous to drive.. none of the gauges work and recently my remote mirrors accept to be adjusted every time I start the car . I would think this alone is a safety concern.. I was told the whole musical instrument panel needed to be replaced ..That would have nothing to do with my mirrors.. this is very frustrating ...

Aforementioned complaint as lots of people. Bought my auto used, check engine light on from the get become. Made an date, took it in, they told me information technology was just a sensor. Two weeks later, nosotros realized speedometer was sticking. Took it in, told me they couldn't find a reason. Side by side affair was oil gauge went whacko. Yet no reason. After 3 calendar month warranty ran out, gas gauge quit working. Took it in, and miraculously, they realized it was the cluster that needed replaced. And since there were no records of me taking it in for that specific reason earlier the warranty expired, it was gonna cost 900+ to set it. Now, in Feb 2013, I didn't pay to have it replaced, the RPM is stuck and the automobile starts to shake wildly when you go over 55. Aid!!!

I have the 2004 Envoy and later the first year of owning it the check engine light came on. I have had all kinds of exam ran on information technology and no one could find the problem. I eventually simply let it equally it was, now My RPM, gas, and water demand are all not working. This has begun to be a big result. I do not desire to be on the side of the road. I really hate that GM knew that there was an issue with is year model and make of SUV and did aught about it. As much as I would like to be a loyal customer, I will never buy a GMC product again! I have spent way too much money on this vehicle.

My speedometer stopped on 90mph and would get upward from at that place to the odometer below the gauge and then dorsum to xc at a total end. I had to drive twenty minutes on a highway surrounded by cops without knowing how fast I was going.. And after reading a couple websites worth of the same complaints and how some people paid up to $453 im pissed off.
I've put up with all the minor problems my Envoy has given me in the by just this is ridiculous. How tin you own a vehicle and non know how fast your going. At that place absolutely needs to be a recall on this problem because i am not alone. Ive been to xx sites and accept seen the same problem over and over once again. Im going to GM tomorrow and insist that they fix this trouble at no cost to me and im bringing print outs of other customer complaints then hopefully they will ready this or everyone is eventually going to stop ownership GM cars...

Mileage Estimate went out. While getting a quote thru GM I ended upwards with a speeding ticket for $125. I told the officer my judge Simply went out and I was waiting for an appointment with GM to get fixed. He said 'drive by your RPM's. What a guy.
GM wants $700 / establish someone in the metro that will practice for $229 labor and parts.
A short fourth dimension after the estimate went out at that place was a 'clicking' noise by the bank window. After one month (I oasis't got my gauge fixed notwithstanding), it clicks on the right side for one minute and then the left side clicks for 1 minute. About like a windshield stuck, trying to activate. Click, Click, Click.
Now my RPM'southward are not reading correct. I have been keeping it under 2 (55 miles per hour) but now fifty-fifty going 50 miles an hr the RPM's race upwardly to 4&5....???

Dangerous problem with electric system. Power loss and gauges not working. inferior electrical components. for the cost of the vehicle information technology is a shame and a reflection on American made vehicles. Same issues with a 2003 Sierra GMC pickup. Finally sold it very cheap. Now my 2004 Envoy @89,000 miles is doing the same thing. These vehicles should be recalled before someone is seriously injured.MY failure happened the day of our worst snow storms. Used 1/8 tank of gas and 45 minutes later I made information technology home seven miles away. These vehicles are the worst I've ever owned. (never will purchase a GM production once again) The past history speaks for itself. Why doesn't GM do something about this? If the problem can exist easily solved why isn't it recalled ? GM might save some future customers. Maybe that's why Ford is now way ahead of GM. I warn all hereafter buyers that there are big problems GM products. GM does not stand up behind their vehicles. Purchase Ford or Chrysler before wasting your coin on a GM product if you plan on keeping it a while...Sorry I'k and so pssssssst.
